Existing medical conditions or past medical conditions and buying new life assurance cover

If you have an existing medical condition, are under medical treatment currently or had a previous medical condition, these should be declared when completing a new proposal form for any life insurer.

In our experience we will be able to give you an indication of how your individual case will be treated and the likely acceptance terms.

Never take the chance of not declaring as a subsequent claim could be refused for non disclosure of a vital fact.

A very small proportion of people are refused cover nowadays.

For those who have had life threatening illnesses and may be refused cover they have an option under the over 50’s cover.
